Recorded in Kyoto, Japan in the summer of 2004, Dokutoramo's first album sprang from the collision of a tired mind, fresh off the boat, strung-out on isolation, with the eastern Sunlight triggering an indiscriminate deluge of memories, dreams and hallucinations.
A new career under a new sun, these recordings are the results of several sessions caught on a tape recorder whose condenser mic had fallen inside the device, thus capturing these guitar/electronics explorations as well as the inner workings of the machine, itself subjected to intense heat, humidity and erratic voltage, the tapes eventually processed and edited into the present selection.
