Recorded in the spring of 2016, "Sublime porte" is the first Dokutoramo album to be simultaneously performed live and appear in recorded form. This new outing showcases a new setup of treated bass drum and bells replacing the laptop elements, along with layers of cassette and guitar loops which continue to form the textures already explored on earlier material.
Based on "Matsuri-bayashi" rhythmic patterns, "Sublime porte" probes the liminal spaces between past and present, night and day, stasis and propulsion, in search of its own future form.
